2026 3rd International Conference on Machine Learning and Intelligent Computing (MLIC 2026)


From April 24 to 26, 2026, the 3rd International Conference on Machine Learning and Intelligent Computing (MLIC 2026) was successfully held in Zhengzhou, China. The conference was hosted by Zhengzhou University (ZZU) , with support from Xidian University and the Institute of AI and Future Networks (IAIFN), Beijing Normal University.

The event featured a vibrant academic atmosphere, dynamic intellectual discussions, and an enthusiastic response from participants. The conference presented three Best Paper Awards, three Best Poster Awards, and three Best Oral Presentation Awards. Attendees engaged in lively discussions on the latest advances, research outcomes, technological innovations, and applications in machine learning and intelligent computing, sharing cutting-edge developments and building a strong foundation for future interdisciplinary collaboration.

Opening Ceremony Host: Prof. Zhen Zhang, Zhengzhou University, China


The opening ceremony was presided over by Prof. Zhen Zhang from the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, Zhengzhou University. Assoc. Prof. Lina Yao, Associate Dean of the school, delivered the opening address, extending a warm welcome to the attending leaders, guests, experts, and scholars. In her speech, Assoc. Prof. Yao noted that the university would take this conference as an opportunity to start from a higher vantage point, vigorously promote the deep integration of industry, academia, and research, and further deepen school-enterprise cooperation, thereby continuously contributing to innovation and development in the field of machine learning and intelligent computing.

During the morning keynote session, four distinguished scholars—Prof. Daqing Zhang from Peking University, Prof. Weijia Jia from Beijing Normal University, Prof. Zheng Yan from Xidian University, and Prof. Shiqian Wu from Wuhan University of Science and Technology—delivered in-depth presentations on cutting-edge topics including "Intelligent Wireless Sensing: Creating a New Paradigm for Smart Home-based Elderly Care," "Edge Computing and Large Language Model Collaborative Computing and Their Applications," "AI-Empowered Trust and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence," and "Knowledge-Embedded Machine Learning." The presentations, characterized by both theoretical depth and forward-looking vision, covered a spectrum from industrial applications to fundamental theoretical innovations, offering attendees a high-caliber academic feast.

The oral presentation session was held in the afternoon and moderated by Dr. Hongpeng Tian from Zhengzhou University. Young scholars from universities and research institutions including Fujian Normal University, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, Shanghai University, Shanghai University, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northeast Petroleum University, China Ship Scientific Research Center, and China Southern Power Grid Power Technology Co., Ltd. presented their latest research findings on topics related to machine learning and intelligent computing. The lively Q&A session fostered vibrant academic exchanges, with new ideas and inspirations continuously emerging, fully demonstrating the research vitality and innovative potential of the young scholars.

This conference attracted widespread attention from scholars. Based on a comprehensive evaluation of paper quality, poster presentation quality, and on-site oral presentation performance, the organizing committee selected 3 Best Papers, 3 Best Posters, and 3 Best Oral Presentations.
